WASHOUT performance – closing of Stazione di Topolò / Postaja Topolove 2011
WASHOUT live at Stazione di Topolò 2011. Guest musician for the occasion was Marta Hari, a classically trained harpist from Udine that has enriched the performance’s atmosphere with a great harp solo. For the “Asian” scenarios we have borrowed a field recording of Beijing’s streets from Signe Liden ( http://signeliden.com/ ) a Norwegian guest artist of Stazione. The whole performance lasted around 50 mins. and unfortunately had to be moved indoor due to adverse weather conditions.

WASHOUT developing in Topolò
Working on the project in a decadent barn of the village. The best rehearsal room we could hope for…plus the contrast between the surrounding environment and out “machinery” was quite shocking. Couldn’t help posing like dumbheads with the weird tools we found in there- All photos are by Maris Silvano © 2011
It began in Montepulciano
